Salary: £55,000 – £60,000 per year (DOE) + Bonuses
Hours: Full-time, Permanent
Service Type: 3-Bedded EBD Home – NO YP in currently but full staff team
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead an established 3-bedded children’s home in Bolton. The home provides high-quality care and support to young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
You’ll be joining a well-supported home led by an experienced Responsible Individual with over 20 years in the sector, including extensive hands-on care experience. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident manager to take ownership of a beautiful, fully staffed home that is currently preparing for a new young person to move in.
Key Responsibilities

Lead, manage, and develop the staff team to deliver outstanding care.

Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and company policies.

Oversee care planning, safeguarding, and behaviour management.

Maintain a nurturing and structured environment for young people.

Work closely with the Responsible Individual to achieve high-quality outcomes.

Drive continuous improvement and promote a positive team culture.
Requirements

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Registered Manager role or similar senior position.

Proven experience leading a children’s home through Ofsted inspections (minimum rating of “Good”).

Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.

Sound knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and regulatory frameworks.
