Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced Deputy Manager to join a 3-bed children’s home in Stoke-on-Trent (ST3) supporting young people with EBD.
What’s on offer:

Salary up to £40,617 per year

£60 per sleep-in

Full-time, permanent position

Work alongside an experienced Responsible Individual (RI)

Supportive, well-established organisation with a fully staffed home
Key Responsibilities:
-
Support the RI in managing the home and staff
-
Ensure high standards of care and regulatory compliance
-
Participate in on-call and sleep-in duties
-
Support care planning, behaviour management, and therapeutic approaches
Requirements:
-
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
-
Experience in residential childcare, ideally in a supervisory role
-
Knowledge of safeguarding, EBD support, and Ofsted standards
-
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
-
Full UK driving licence
