I’m currently working alongside a passionate and values-driven director to recruit a Registered Manager for a brand new children’s home in Stockton-on-Tees.
One of the things I admire most about this organisation is their genuine commitment to reinvesting a proportion of their profits into a trust specifically for the children. This ensures long-term, meaningful impact beyond day-to-day care — something more companies in this sector should be getting behind.

- Experienced Responsible Individual already in place
- Strong foundations, clear vision, and excellent leadership support
The Vision
This role is not just about opening one home. The organisation has ambitious plans for growth, including:
- Developing additional children’s homes
- Creating a supported accommodation arm
- Allowing young people to transition into independence without leaving the company that knows and supports them
This offers continuity, stability, and genuine progression for both young people and staff.
Who They’re Looking For
- An experienced or aspiring Registered Manager
- Passionate about outcomes for children and young people
- Confident working with EBD / SEMH needs

- Someone excited by the opportunity to build, shape, and grow with a developing organisation
Why This Role Stands Out
- Opportunity to lead a brand new home
- Supportive and experienced leadership already in place
- Values-driven organisation with a strong ethical mission
- Clear plans for expansion and career progression
